CLIENT / THE HEADSTRONG PROJECT
Triumph Over Trauma was created to extend the reach of Headstrong beyond traditional fundraising and awareness efforts—positioning the organization as the go-to mental healthcare resource for veterans, clinicians, donors, and the broader community.
The campaign is rooted in a simple belief: Headstrong’s impact is best represented through individual stories that are truthful, authentic, and uplifting. Each personal triumph reflects something larger—the collective triumph Headstrong offers every veteran who engages with the organization.
We developed the campaign concept, visual identity and logo lockup, and produced two documentary-style films featuring veterans Noah Galloway and Pasha Palankar. Rather than focusing solely on trauma, the stories invite audiences into moments of resilience, recovery, and renewed purpose—creating emotional connection while reinforcing Headstrong’s role in long-term mental health support.
By centering real voices and lived experience, Triumph Over Trauma engages viewers not as observers, but as participants—encouraging awareness, advocacy, and meaningful action in support of veterans facing the hidden wounds of war.
The Noah Galloway Story
Filmed in his hometown of Birmingham, Alabama, Noah’s story traces his journey from redeployment in Iraq’s “Triangle of Death” to the life-altering moment that cost him his arm and leg. Through Headstrong’s support, Noah overcame depression, rediscovered his purpose, and now inspires others to confront trauma and move forward with strength.
The Pasha Palankar Story
After serving 17 years in the U.S. Army, Pasha’s career and life were changed by multiple traumatic events in Iraq—including a face-to-face encounter with a suicide bomber and an IED explosion beneath his feet. His film explores the long-term mental health impact of those experiences and the path toward healing through Headstrong’s care.
