As a premium, natural skincare company for men, the cultural waters around Oars & Alps’ products were murky at best. They came to us to relaunch their online presence and increase conversions, and soon tapped into our holistic offerings for help with branding, packaging, and content creation as well.
Looking at the cultural landscape, we found an opening for O&A in the lack of authentic looks for men’s lifestyle. Something that felt aspirational but natural, just like their products, and that would focus on skincare as part of a journey to be their best
THE LOOK OF REAL LIFESTYLE
On the Oars & Alps website, we wanted to do more than just show images of this authentic lifestyle: we wanted to speak to men like other guys did. Casual, but not too casual. Impressive without being prideful.
We avoided warning, advising, or chastising men about caring for their skin, and instead presented it as a natural part of living to the fullest. Throughout the site, we brought this feeling of aspiration and accomplishment to the forefront, and highlighted the product benefits that made it possible to move visitors toward sales.

So we brought Oars & Alps’ vision of an aspirational lifestyle to the place where guys were looking for it—on social media—by writing, shooting, and curating content that would inspire them to carry it on, and share their own pursuits with the brand.
