The Great Pacific Race is a grueling 2400-nautical-mile race, considered one of the toughest on Earth. Teams of 3 or 4 crew members compete in identical boats, undertaking a self-supported and unassisted journey from San Francisco to Hawaii. Departing against the backdrop of San Francisco's iconic skyline and rowing away from the bustling race village, participants venture into the vast expanse of the world's largest ocean.
We partnered with The Great Pacific Race to relaunch their brand and develop their new web presence. By updating the brand's visual identity and creative direction, we aimed to generate excitement, attract new sponsorships, and build race teams.
We redesigned the website and integrated it into Wordpress, capturing the race's spirit and intensity. Our aim was to create an engaging online presence that appeals to potential sponsors and aspiring race teams.
Through an updated website, we highlight the race's challenges, the skills of its participants, and the allure of a transoceanic adventure. The Wordpress CMS allows easy content management, enabling the client to showcase race updates, team profiles, and captivating stories.
